Letter to the editor | God’s truth

November 2, 2013

I recently read that more than 30 pastors were going to jointly officiate at a wedding of a same-sex couple.

I wonder what kind of a letter the apostle Paul would write to them on this matter. He did write to the Corinthians in regard to a Christian moral issue. Read Corinthians.

According to God’s word, what they are doing is wrong, and it is up to Christians to show them this by God’s word.

Christians are no longer under the law of the 10 Commandments; these have become promises from God that he will do through them, and the more of your life you turn over to him the more of these you will fulfill.

After all, these are just a small part of God’s nature. Sinners, after all, are only doing what is a part of their nature. Why do Christians act so shocked at what they do?

The only difference between them and us is that Christ in us is our only hope of glory. He is the one who leads us into all truth — not our denomination or pastor. Only God can reveal truth to you.
