Ice hockey: Butler skates to win over State College

— Butler scored a pair of third-period goals to skate away from State College 5-3 Monday night in club ice hockey action at the Ice Connection.

Joseph DiMartino scored a pair of goals for the Golden Tornado while Connor Scott netted the winner 3:39 into the third period.

After falling behind 3-1 early in the second, the Little Lions (1-2) rallied with goals from Andrew Moscone and Luc Michael. Dakota Campbell scored in the first period for State College.

Chris Rodgers, Brendan Horgas and Petr Horgos picked up assists. Nick Whann and CJ Campbell also scored for Butler.

The Little Lions return home to meet Mount Lebanon next Monday.
