Ice hockey: Karas helps State College skate past Mount Lebanon

— Jared Karas had a role in all four goals Monday night as the State College ice hockey team upended Mount Lebanon 4-2 at Pegula Ice Arena.

Karas scored twice and assisted on the other two goals, which were netted by Sey Yeaple. Karas’ first goal came just 51 seconds into the contest, and Karas and Yeaple also scored 19 seconds apart in the second period as the Little Lions (2-2) built a 4-0 lead.

Brendan Horgas also picked up an assist, while Chris Rosselog made 25 saves in goal.

Thomas Kang and Walker Troy scored the Mount Lebanon goals.
