Police identify Port Matilda woman killed in crash on South Eagle Valley Road

Police have identified the Port Matilda woman who died Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash on South Eagle Valley Road in Centre County.

Dolores P. Weaver, 79, died when a tanker truck collided with her car around 9 p.m. Tuesday, said state police at Philipsburg.

Weaver was leaving a parking lot at the Port Matilda Sportsmen’s Club and turning onto South Eagle Valley Road when she pulled out in front of the tanker truck, police said.

Weaver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck hit the driver’s side of Weaver’s vehicle and pushed it off the roadway.

Michael Mock, 40, of Home, who was driving the truck, was not injured in the crash, police said.

Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers said that an autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.
