Bellefonte man charged with possession of heroin

The state Attorney General’s Office reported the arrest Wednesday of a Bellefonte resident during a drug sting in Altoona.

Maurice Darrell Golden, 33, of Bellefonte, has been charged with several counts related to Operation Our Town, an effort to take drugs off the streets in Altoona and Blair County conducted by the Bureau of Narcotics Investigation.

Golden allegedly sold and delivered 30 bags of heroin Wednesday to an address in the 1200 block of 20th Street in Altoona. Golden faces charges including delivery of a controlled substance and possession of heroin. He was transported to the Blair County Central Booking Facility for arraignment.
