Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Byron Wesley paced all scorers with 22 points, as the USC Trojans dismissed the Cal State Fullerton Titans, 76-62, in a non-conference bout at the Galen Center.
Wesley shot 7-of-14 from the floor and also grabbed eight rebounds for USC (3-1). Omar Oraby tallied 15 points, nine rebounds and six blocks, while Pe'Shon Howard (11 points) and Julian Jacobs (10 points) both had five assists.
For Fullerton (2-2), Sheldon Blackwell poured in 14 points, while Marquis Horne and Michael Williams netted 10 points apiece. The Titans played without top scorer Alex Harris, who is day-to-day with an ankle injury.
USC opened the contest on an 18-3 run on its way to a commanding 45-25 lead at the break.
Despite generating a 14-0 run of their own in the second stanza, the Titans could not overcome their large deficit and never got closer than 10 points of the lead.
Fullerton shot just 40.3 percent from the field in the game and committed a season-high 17 turnovers. USC shot 47.2 percent from the floor and made good on 21-of-30 from the foul line.
