Penn State women’s hockey: Nittany Lions fall to Lindenwood

November 23, 2013

WENTZVILLE, MO. — Jordin Pardoski got the Nittany Lions on the board early in the first period but it wasn’t enough as Lindenwood rallied for a 2-1 victory on Friday.

Lindenwood, who picked up its first win of the year, tied the game up in the second period on a Carrie Atkinson goal. It then would claim the lead half through the same period with Jocelyn Slattery scoring the goal.

Penn State (2-12-1) had a flurry of shots on goal in the third period but Lindenwood’s (1-12-2) goalie Nicole Hensley stood tall and claimed the win.
