Penn State women’s ice hockey: Penn State gets revenge on Lindenwood

— Penn State picked up its first College Hockey American win on Saturday afternoon after beating Lindenwood 4-1.

The Nittany Lions used a balance attack and got 36 save effort from Celine Whitlinger in the victory.

Hannah Hoenshell, Taylor Gross, Laura Bowman and Shannon Yoxheimer each netted a goal for Penn State, who grabbed a 2-0 advantage in the first period and never looked back.

Hoenshell and Gross tallied the first period goals and Yoxheimer and Bowman scored theirs in the second and third periods, respectively.
