From CDT staff reportsNovember 24, 2013

— A 49-year-old woman was arrested Saturday afternoon in connection with a Lemont home break-in and the theft of a cellphone, State College police said Sunday.

Suzanne Bienert was charged with felony burglary, felony robbery, misdemeanor trespassing and a summary offense of criminal mischief in connection with the incident, according to court documents. The incident occurred at about 5 p.m. at 709 Wayne St., police said.

Police said Bienert broke a window to allow herself to reach in and unlock the door. Police said the resident was not home at the time she broke in, but she was still there when the homeowner returned. Bienert is known to the resident, police said.

Bienert was arrested at the scene, and alcohol is a suspected factor, police said.

Bienart was arraigned by District Judge Thomas Jordan and taken to Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail. Her preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday, according to court documents.
