Boys’ cross country: St. Joseph’s runners compete in regional meet

— Brian Hackman placed 43rd to lead four St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy runners at the Nike Cross Northeast Regional Championships at Bowdoin State Park on Saturday.

Hackman covered the 5K course in 17 minutes, 43 seconds. Grayson Hepp of Germantown Friends won the event with a time of 16:53.3.

Eli Urban (161st, 19:22), Michael Peters (264th, 21.23) and Charlie Ross (310th, 23:49) also participated from St. Joseph’s in the field of 319 runners.
