— Penn State’s dual against Pittsburgh at the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday is a sellout, the university announced Monday.

“Having a sellout crowd of over 15,000 fans for two Pennsylvania schools is exciting and we appreciate it very much,” Penn State coach Cael Sanderson said. “Now it’s our job to go out and entertain them. I’d like to thank all the fans for their continued support. It means a lot to our entire program.”

The meet will be the 13th straight sellout for the Nittany Lions, including the last dozen at Rec Hall. The final attendance number announced Sunday also should break the Penn State record by better than 3,000 fans.

The No. 1 Nittany Lions visit Boston University on Friday.
