Ice hockey: State College skates to victory

— State College needed just 18 seconds to get on the scoreboard and never looked back in a 4-1 win over Butler on Thursday night at Pegula Ice Arena.

Glenn Wild found the net right after the opening draw, with help from Andy Skipper, to start the scoring for the Little Lions (3-3).

Luc Michael, Jared Karas and Sey Yeaple also provided State College goals, with assists from Robby Waite and Andrew Moscone picked up assists.

Chris Rosselot turned aside 25 shots for the win.

Joseph DiMartino spoiled the shutout with Butler’s goal in the third period.

The Little Lions host Penn Trafford on Monday.
