High school hockey: Penn Trafford skates past State College

— State College could not recover from Penn Trafford’s hot start as the Little Lions fell 6-2 in hockey action Monday at the Pegula Ice Arena.

Jake Miller, Marc Anthony and Cam Williams scored within a five-minute stretch late in the first period to give the Warriors a 3-0 lead.

The Little Lions (3-4) played it relatively even from there. Seay Yeaple and Andrew Moscone scored in the second period., Moscone and Jared Karas had assists. Little Lion goalie Chris Rosselot stopped 35 shots.

Jonah Graffus, Dan Cox and Matt Stumph also scored for Penn Trafford.
