High school wrestling: St. Joseph’s earns three place-winners in first tourney

St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy took part in its first wrestling event in school history over the weekend where three wrestlers placed in the eight-team individual tournament at St. Mary’s High School.

J.T. Mobley won the first varsity match for the Wolves in the first round at heavyweight. Mobley went on to place fourth while Austin Emel finished third at 138 pounds and Garrett Walters placed fifth at 126. Emel went 3-1 and won three-straight bouts to finish third.
