From CDT staff reportsDecember 15, 2013

A Bellefonte woman was injured last week in a snow-related vehicle crash in which her car traveled about 75 feet off the roadway and ended up on the driver side door, state police at Rockview said.

Vickie Wagner was cited for traveling at an unsafe speed on Jackson Road near Weights Lane when her Suzuki Grand Vitara slipped off the snow covered roadway and eventually hit an embankment, flipping the car, police said. The incident occurred at 2:35 p.m. Dec. 8.

Wagner was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries, police said.
