Ice hockey: State College stumbles on road

— State College scored early in each period, but Pine Richland responded with two goals later in each frame as the Rams skated to a 6-3 victory over the Little Lions at the Ice Connection on Monday.

Glenn Wild, Josef Horgos and Sey Yeaple found the net for State College (4-5). Luc Michael and Brendan Horgas assisted on one score each while Andrew Moscone had a pair of assists.

Nicholas Matelan scored twice for the Rams while Ryan Cole, Michael Carrozzi, Kyle Cunningham and Matthew Cole each hit the net once.

Chris Rosselot made 27 saves for State College, which was outshot 33-25.

The Little Lions host Peters Township on Thursday at Pegula Ice Arena before taking a break until January.
