High school boys’ basketball: State College drops Kiwanis Holiday Tournament opener to Bethlehem Freedom

— Tyler Hall had a team-high 11 points but it wasn’t enough for State College as it dropped a close one to Bethlehem Freedom 42-39 in the Kiwanis Holiday Tournment on Saturday.

The Little Lions were 11 for 18 at the free throw line. Lucas Cooper added nine points for State College, who will play Upper Darby in the consolation at 2:30 Saturday afternoon.

Nigel Long led Bethlehem Freedom with 15 points.
