Wrestling: Kachik, Fye lead Bald Eagle Area at tournament

— Michael Kachik finished sixth and Josh Fye took fourth for Bald Eagle Area at the Manheim Lions Holiday Tournament to close-the two-day meet Saturday.

Fye lost in the 285-pound semifinals to J.W. Robinson’s Jacob Pinkston 11-5, then wrestled back to the third-place bout before falling 4-2 to Gene Ringer of Reynolds.

At 113 pounds, Kachik recovered from a quarterfinal loss on Friday to earn a sppot in the fifth-place bout before his 5-2 loss to Brandon Greyson of J.W. Robinson.

The Eagles finished 13th out of the 14 teams at the tournament. North Allegheny took the title with 179 points, and Kiski captured second with 169.5.
