Julian woman injured in I-99 ramp accident in Patton Township

A Julian woman suffered moderate injuries after her car slid on an icy road in Patton Township.

Nicole L. Gass, 18, was treated at Mount Nittany Medical Center after she lost control of her Chevrolet Tracker on the off-ramp of Interstate 99 at Exit 68, State Police in Rockview said.

Her car slid through the median, across the ramp and bounced 30 feel off a barrier and finally landed facing south on the off-ramp.

Gass was not cited in the accident. Catherman's towed her vehicle and LifeLink provided transportation to the hospital.
