Police: Curtin Township man charged with cruelty to animals after dog found dead ‘and frozen to the floor’

— A Curtin Township man has been charged with cruelty to animals after his dog “was found behind his residence in a dog house dead and frozen to the floor,” police said.

State police at Rockview said the dog was found at the home of Ronald Eugene Haines, 46, on Long Street at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Summary charges were filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Kelley Gillette-Walker, police said.
