Penn State women’s hockey: Nittany Lions top Colgate in OT

— Hannah Hoenshell scored in overtime as Penn State avenged Friday’s overtime loss to Colgate with a 2-1 triumph on Saturday at Pegula Ice Arena.

Hoenshell also assisted on Laura Bowman’s second-period score which tied the game at 1-1.

Nicole Paniccia stopped 39 shots for the Nittany Lions (4-17-2), who won for the first time in overtime in program history. Penn State snapped a five-game losing skid.

Taylor Volpe scored for Colgate (5-14-2).
