High school boys’ basketball: Centre County Christian Academy gets first win

— Kevin Zuercher had 12 points and four steals to lead Centre County Christian Academy to its first win of the season with a 36-18 triumph against Calvary Huntingdon on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs (1-8) outscored Calvary 22-7 in the second half.

“We played a real aggressive zone,” CCCA coach Sean Kader said. “We got some steals. We pressured them and gave them a real hard time. We rebounded well in the second half. They were one-and-done ervy possession.”

Tyler Parson added seven points and 14 rebounds for CCCA.
