UNIVERSITY PARK — The Penn State women’s volleyball team will be searching for a new member of its coaching staff.
Kaleena Davidson has decided to leave the program after five seasons, citing “personal reasons.” Davidson will remain in town but is leaving coaching. Her husband, Cameron, is and will remain the strength and conditioning coach for a number of Nittany Lion programs, including the volleyball team.
Head coach Russ Rose said he has already begun his search to replace Davidson, who was a standout member of the program as a libero from 2002-05.
Davidson helped the Nittany Lions to the national championship last season, the program’s sixth in its history and third with her as a member of the staff.
