Boggs Township, Clearfield County, gets grant to improve water system

A grant announced Tuesday by Gov. Tom Corbett has been designated to help improve the water system in Boggs Township, Clearfield County.

The grant is part of $60.1 million being invested in 13 drinking water and wastewater projects across the state through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority.

Boggs Township received $2.65 million to install several miles of water distribution lines and other facilities to improve drinking water and eliminate frequent outages.
