Girls’ basketball: West Branch slips past Bald Eagle Area

— Bald Eagle Area and West Branch dueled to an even second half but the first half proved to be the difference in West Branch’s 35-30 win.

The Warriors outscored the Lady Eagles 17-12 in the first half before two teams both added 18 points apiece in the second.

Hayley Giedroc led BEA (4-9) with 12 points while Logan Fisher chipped in eight. Fisher also added six steals and seven rebounds. Missy Croyle led West Branch with 13 points.
