The editorial cartoon in Tuesday’s CDT extolling the accomplishments of Barack Obama was spot-on if your only sources of information are the CDT and ABC, NBC and CNN.
Exploring additional sources of information might have caused some other “accomplishments” to rear their ugly heads.
Consider: “Fast and Furious,” in which weapons, with Justice Department approval, were sent to Mexico. Some were later used to kill a U.S. Border Patrol officer. Weapons were sent with no means of tracing them or recovering them.
How about Benghazi? After 16 months, the administration is still stonewalling.
Obama got the troops out of Iraq. What is the situation there now?
We have been told that Obama approved the surge of troops in Afghanistan only as a political decision. He takes full credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden.
If, heaven forbid, that operation had been unsuccessful, he would have told us that it had been done without his knowledge. And while taking the credit, he outed SEAL Team Six. Ask those guys how they feel.
And, of course, we have all the lies about Obamacare.
No need to delve further into the subject of honesty and veracity. But, to me, the latest and one of the worst is the appointment of an attorney to a high position in the Justice Department. This attorney volunteered and then defended Mumia Abu-Jamal, a twice-convicted murderer who executed a Philadelphia police officer.
Best president in history.
