Boys basketball: State College edged by Mifflin County

— Michael Beattie scored a game-high 26 points for State College on Friday night, but the Little Lions’ defense gave up a 25-point fourth quarter to Mifflin County as the Huskies escaped the North gym with a 65-64 victory.

Michael Hall added eight points for the Little Lions (1-14), as Mifflin County finished the game with four players in double figures, led by 18 points from JM Maclay. Hunter Wright had 11 points for Mifflin County, as Evan Seby and Nate Koller each finished with 10.
