Letter to the editor | Give voters information

January 27, 2014

A state judge has ruled that Pennsylvania can’t require voters to show ID at the polls, and nor should school board member Jim Pawelczyk (“Questions answered,” CDT Friday) and the State College Area School District require referendum voters to access a computer to see what the total tax impact will be to fund a modernized high school and ongoing operations of the district.

Get the information off of the website and onto the CDT front page.

Every referendum voter deserves access to this information. Board members should raise the level of trust they are seeking by showing that they have nothing to hide.

Dana Boyd, State College
