High school track: St. Joseph’s runners set marks

— Grace Cousins and Eli Urban each broke school records for St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy on Sunday at the Susquehanna Indoor Classic.

Urban lowered his own program mark in the 800-meter run with a fourth-place finish of 2 minutes, 15.71 seconds. Cousins, a freshman, was fifth in the 3,000 meters in 11:17.37.

Also for the Wolves, Brian Hackman finished fourth in the 3,000, the girls’ 4x800 relay team (Hannah Straub, Nicole Zimmerman, Cousins, Jessie Grace) took third, the boys’ 4x8 team (Urban, Hackman, Michael Peters, Stephen Forstmeier) was fifth and the boys’ 1,600 relay team (Urban, JP Romero, Forstmeier, Peters) took fourth.
