COLUMBUS, Ohio — D.J. Newbill had the ball in his hands with a chance to make one more big play to lift Penn State to an upset over Ohio State. With the Buckeyes Aaron Craft guarding him, Newbill made his move, crossing over to his left, before letting go his pull-up jumper.

There were 11 seconds left, we were down by one. I just cleared out one side of the floor, Newbill said. Fortunately, it went down.
Newbill, who scored a game-high 25 points to go with eight rebounds, also hit the game-tying 3-pointer to force overtime.
