High school hockey: State College edges Bethel Park in overtime

— State College’s Brendan Horgas scored with 19 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Little Lions to the win over Bethel Park 2-1 on Friday night.

State College (7-7-1) tied the game with 3:06 left in the third period when Christopher Rodgers found the back of the net. Andrew Skipper picked up the assist on the play. Little Lions goalie Chris Rosselot made 27 saves.

Ethan Wdowiak found the back of the net on a power play in the second period to give Bethel Park (13-3-0) a 1-0 lead.

Robert Waite assisted on the game-winning goal in overtime for State College.
