Man taken to hospital after reporting he was punched in State College

A 22-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday morning, telling police he was punched by an unknown man, State College police said.

The incident occurred at about 1:10 a.m. on the 200 block of South Pugh Street. The man was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Centre LifeLink EMS for treatment of unknown injuries.

Police have no suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
