Letter to the editor | Keep roaring, Penn State

February 7, 2014

We are Penn State.

One thing that remains with Penn State is greatness. In the midst of her incurable wound, a fermentation of abounded love has sprung from these vines.

A voice, though torn in two, has become one.

In this valley, what became a hopeless pit, a beautiful song is starting to echo from this tiny light shining on the hill.

Despite all that has been said and done, this university has become a better place. Let us only be judged by what we have done for those who can’t do anything for us.

Keep shining Penn State. In your darkest hour, you rose above. Be a roaring voice, one.

Keep on roaring. Call and write to Sens. Bob Casey and Pat Toomey and let your voice be heard for the poor.

Your voice is a future of hope to so many.
