Girls basketball: Penns Valley rolls past Bald Eagle Area

— Karli Ripka scored a game-high 14 points and Kourtney Beamesderfer added 13 as Penns Valley grabbed a 36-6 halftime lead en route to a 57-17 win over Bald Eagle Area on Thursday night.

Tangie Lyons was the third Lady Ram to score in double figures with 10, as every Penns Valley player put points on the board against the Lady Eagles (4-12).

“It was a good team win for us,” Penns Valley coach Andrea Borland said, as her Lady Rams improve to 12-6. “We played hard and took care of the ball.”

Logan Fisher led BEA with nine points.

Penns Valley will host Clearfield on Friday night in its annual Think Pink game.
