High school boys’ basketball: Grace Prep rally falls short against Huntingdon Christian

— Brandon Kauruter scored a game-high 29 points to lead Huntingdon Christian to a 53-46 win over Grace Prep on Friday night.

Huntingdon Christian (14-6) took a 30-16 halftime lead, but the Storm came out strong in the second half to cut the deficit to four heading into the fourth quarter. Grace Prep trailed by two behind its pressure defense with about six minutes remaining but couldn’t get any closer in the loss.

Alex Zubler led the Storm (5-8) with 19 points. Kauruter had 10 field goals and went 9-for-12 from the foul line.

Grace Prep plays at Northumberland on Monday.
