From CDT staff reportsFebruary 12, 2014

— Jaelyn Shelton-Burleigh scored a career-high 20 points to lead a big night for the State College post players in a 71-48 victory over Williamsport on Tuesday night.

Kyla Irwin added 18 points and Bridget King netted 12 for the Lady Little Lions (13-7). Ali Treglia and Carrie Mahon each added eight points.

“We shot very well,” coach Bethany Irwin said. “Our goal was to push the ball. Their post players were strong but not as fast and didn’t have the legs.”

State College has a key battle Wednesday night, hosting Hollidaysburg.
