High school wrestling: Philipsburg-Osceola overpowers Northern Bedford

— The Philipsburg-Osceola Mounties (10-5) hammered the Northern Bedford Panthers (7-5) on Tuesday, winning 11 of 14 bouts to turn in a 52-15 win.

Philipsburg-Osceola won the takedown battle 11-6 and picked up two pins and two technical falls. Logan Day pinned Chase Ott in 1:17 at 285 pounds to put P-O up 27-7 at the midway point. Levi Huges picked up a fall over Carter Prlogle in 3:23 at 132 to add to P-O’s lead.

Bryce Bennett (106) and Caleb Shively (145) added techincal falls for the Mounties.
