Philipsburg home burns to a total loss

Emergency crews respond to a fire at 338 N. Ninth St.early in the morning, February 12, 2014. The home is fully engulfed, and heavy smoke pours out of the windows and roof. No one was home at the time of the blaze, but the owners did lose their dog in the fire, Philipsburg Fire Department Chief Jeff Harris said. The homeowners were at work when the fire started.
