Toxicology reports released for a hit-and-run victim show drugs in her system

According to Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers, a toxicology test done on Sherry Houtz after her death in February 2013 show she had morphine, methadone and benzodiazapine in her blood.

Houtz, 32, was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 99 early in the morning. She was walking on interstate at the time.

Earlier in the week, state police at Rockview renewed a call for information about the case. Tips can be directed to 355-7545 or tips@centrecountycrimestoppers.org. Centre County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction.
