Ohio man injured in Interstate 80 crash in Marion Township

A 32-year-old Ohio man sustained moderate injuries Thursday when he lost control of his vehicle on a snow-covered Interstate 80 in Marion Township, state police at Rockview said.

Hassan Ahmed, of Columbus, struck a guardrail while traveling east near Dotterers Road, causing major front end damage to his vehicle. Ahmed was taken to Lock Haven Hospital for treatment of mild to moderate injuries, police said.

He was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

Other agencies assisting on the scene included Goodwill Hose Company, Nittany Valley Volunteer Fire Company and Eagle Towing.
