Police alerted to synthetic marijuana on Rush Township roadside

State police in Philipsburg were tipped off Thursday morning to several baggies containing synthetic marijuana, according to police reports.

A person walking on Penn Five Road in Rush Township at 10:30 a.m. called police after spotting seven plastic bags containing the drugs, police said Friday.

The state police recovered the drugs, they said.
