Penn State football: Time set for Blue-White Game

— The Penn State football program’s annual Blue-White Game will be kick off at 1:30 p.m. on April 12 at Beaver Stadium.

The annual scrimmage will provide a first public look at the program since James Franklin was named the new head coach on Jan. 11. Penn State returns 15 starters and 41 letterwinners for the upcoming season. The Nittany Lions will begin spring drills March 17 with the 15 practices culminating in the scrimmage.

There is no admission or parking fee for the game. Stadium parking lots will open at 8 a.m. The times for stadium gate openings for the fans will be announced in March.

The time of the autograph session with the team also will be announced in March. The Fan Festival, with numerous displays and vendors, will be held on Curtin Road.
