High school hockey: Skipper’s late goal lifts State College over Norwin

— Andrew Skipper scored a power play goal with just under two minutes left to lead State College over Norwin 5-4 on Friday night at Centre Ice Arena.

Lucas Michael, who had four assists on the night, and Jared Karas assisted on Skipper’s goal.

Karas had two goals and two assists on the night for the Little Lions (9-10-1), who will play either Pittsburgh Central Catholic, Pine-Richland or Canon-McMillan in the first round of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League playoffs. Brendan Horgas had a goal and assist and Sey Yeaple had the final goal for State College.

Elijah Reith had two goals for Norwin (2-18-0).
