State College police warn students to secure property before leaving for spring break

From CDT staff reportsMarch 5, 2014

State College police are warning students to be careful as they leave for spring break.

The warning urges students to secure their property, including residences and vehicles, after a rash of burglaries over winter break.

The alleged perpetrators in that spree — Ryan Reichlin, of State College, and Aaron Klinger, of Centre Hall — were arrested in February.

Both have waived preliminary hearings and are proceeding to trial.
