Penn State women’s hockey: Nittany Lions honored

— Two Penn State players picked up conference honors Thursday for their season performances.

Freshman forward Laura Bowman was named to the College Hockey America Rookie Team, and senior captain Taylor Gross earned the individual sportsmanship award

Bowman led the team with 10 goals and added six assists, while Gross had seven goals and eight assists.

Penn State (4-29-3) also earned the team sportsmanship award, given to the team with the fewest penalties during conference play.
