The executive committee for Penn State’s Movin’ On music festival recently announced this year’s performers: A$AP Rocky, Fitz and the Tantrums, Aloe Blacc and Sky Ferreira.

Movin’ On, a free outdoor concert for all, will kick off at 3 p.m. April 26 at the Park Avenue Intramural Fields, University Park.

This year’s lineup is heavy on the rap set and features A$AP Rocky, a member of the A$AP Mob; and Aloe Blacc, known for his vocal contributions to Avicii’s “Wake Me Up.” Fitz and the Tantrums, a band discovered at the 2010 South by Southwest Festival, and Sky Ferreira, a singer-songwriter and actress who entered the music industry after self-promoting her videos on Myspace, will represent the indie pop and soul genres.

According to the organization’s website, “As one of the largest student-run music festivals in the country, and a Penn State tradition now in its 40th year, Movin’ On brings the top music of today, tomorrow and yesterday together as a celebration of those graduating Nittany Lions “movin’ on” in their academic and professional lives.”
