Cell phone blamed in Route 150 crash

State police at Philipsburg say a Howard woman lost control of her car on state Route 150 in Milesburg. Haley Giedroc, 17, was distracted when her cell phone received a notification, and she struck a guide rail on the right side of the road. Her 1996 Ford Escort had to be towed from the scene. Giedroc had moderate injuries to her left eye and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center by ambulance.
