Families who wish to submit information concerning an out-of-town death directly to the newspaper must provide the name and telephone number of the funeral home. Packer — Jerry L. Packer, 63, died March 20, 2014. Visitation Tuesday, 10-11 am at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am.

LOCK HAVEN

Johnson — Mary Lou Johnson, 74, died March 22, 2014. Services will be private, at the families convenience. Arrangements are under the care of the Kader-Neff FH, Howard.

MILLHEIM

Dashem — Dean E. Dashem of Millheim, died March 20, 2014. Arrangements by Steven R. Neff Funeral Home to follow at a later date.

SPRING MILLS

Whitehill — Jack D. Whitehill died March 21, 2014. At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K. Wetzler F.H.,Milesburg.

STATE COLLEGE

Dry — Richard Dry, of State College, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at his home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home, Centre Hall.

Gesell — Stanley G. Gesell, 92, of State College, died Friday.Visitation 6-8 pm,Monday, at Koch FH, State College. Memorial Service 1 pm, Tuesday,at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church,State College.

Pursell — Ronald A. Pursell, 83, died March 17, 2014 at St. Louis, Mo. Funeral Service1:00 pm, Tuesday, at Mark D. Heintzelman F.H., State College. Interment will follow in Centre County Memorial Park.
