Penn State police investigate report of sexual assault on campus

— Penn State police are investigating a reported sexual assault early Saturday at the Nittany Apartments residence hall complex on campus.

Police said a student was attacked between midnight and 2 a.m. by a man who was known by the alleged victim. Police did not specify that the alleged victim was female.

Police released a crime alert about the incident early Tuesday.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 863-1111 or visit and click on “Report A Crime.”
