Penn State program and Stocker Chevrolet team up to host alternative fuel seminar

The Penn State Advanced Vehicle Team and Stocker Chevrolet will present an alternative fuel seminar from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 701 Benner Pike.

The event will address alternative fuel vehicles and the future of the automotive industry.

According to a press release, the Advanced Vehicle Team is participating in EcoCAR2 — a three-year competition that features 15 universities across North America re-engineering a hybrid electric vehicle.

Team members will be in attendance and will have the vehicle on display.
